My current research interests center around solidarity politics and the complexity of collective agency related to African American farmers in the rural South. Previous research assessed social justice in Alabama utilizing Geographic Information Systems to create a Social Justice Index (S.J.I.), a map highlighting hot/cold spots of capital (resources).
