Our students will experience an interdisciplinary program of study designed to address the needs of today’s evolving agricultural and food systems. Students may apply in one of two majors: Agricultural and Extension Education, or Community, Leadership, and Development.

The Agricultural and Extension Education major is for individuals planning a career related to the education of youth and adults regarding agricultural concepts. The Community, Leadership, and Development major is for individuals interested in non-formal education and leadership development to improve the sustainability of communities across Virginia and the United States.
